It is recommended that you make a reservation to bungee jump and/or for the RIPRIDE zipline. It is possible to book and jump when you arrive but please be advised that it is not guaranteed that you will be able to jump.

Reservations can be made online through our integrated booking system or by calling (819) 459-3714. Click here to access our online booking system.

You should reserve as far in advance as possible. There is never guaranteed availability for a certain day. Popular time slots could be fully booked up to 3 weeks in advance.
Yes. Payment in full is required for any and all bungee jumping, the RIPRIDE zipline and Ultimate Adventure bookings.
Payment must be made with a credit card using our online booking system or over the phone at the time of booking. No bookings will be final without full payment.
Payments may be made by VISA or Mastercard.
No, for group reservations, payment for each person must be made on a single credit card number given by the group organizer.
Within 0 to 48hrs from the activity time no changes can be made without losing your payment. Within 48hrs to 30 days from your activity time your payment is not refundable but you can rebook your activity date to any other date before the end of the season. With 30 days or more advanced notice your payment is refundable.
Bad weather, such as severe winds, intense rain or lightning, may cause delays to the activities but very rarely cancellations. Delays to activities are at the discretion of Great Canadian Bungee management.
Once your booking is made, you cannot remove participants from your group without losing the payment for those people. It is still possible to call back and add participants to your group, but only if availability allows.
Yes. There is a finite number of jumps that we can fit into our schedule each day. Popular jump dates can be completely booked. If this is the case, it is still possible to be added to a waiting list for that day. People on the waiting list will be contacted if jump slots become available due to groups cancelling or rescheduling.
From May 1st to October 31st bungee jumping and the RIPRIDE ziplining are available every day. Please see our HOURS and PRICING section for details.
There is no minimum number of participants. Reservations can be made for individuals or groups.
Arrive 30-45 minutes before your scheduled time in order to complete the registration process before your atctivity time. For groups of 10 or more please arrive 1 hour before your scheduled time so that we may register and organize the group prior to the jumps.

Yes, spectators are welcome. There is a designated viewing area for spectators near the registration area. However, spectators may not accompany the jumpers to the tower or onto the jump platform.
Yes. Photos and videos may be taken from the spectator area only.
There are no accommodations on site but there are campgrounds and hotels within minutes. Our accommodation section has a full list of links to local hotels, motels and campgrounds.
Yes. The bungee jump and the RIPRIDE zipline are over a 160ft deep lagoon.

Physically, bungee jumping is a smooth process with a gradual deceleration. Jumpers do not feel any physical pain or significant discomfort during the course of the jump. Fear is usually what causes the most discomfort during the course of the activity.

No special clothing is required for jumping or for the RIPRIDE ziplining, however, all jumpers are required to wear shoes or sandals with a strap that will stay on your feet. Boots or flip flops are not permitted. Check the weather on the date of your activity and dress appropriately for the conditions.
The water dip is optional. If you do not want to touch the water then you will not. If you ask to do a "water dip" then it may be arranged at the discretion of the jump master. In this case the touch is not guaranteed.
No. Jumpers are asked to remove all personal items from their pockets before jumping and cameras must be left behind. This is a safety concern and our insurance forbids this.
There is a group safety briefing before jumping begins. Jump instructions, retrieval procedures, and jump options are all explained, harnessing then follows. This briefing only takes about 5 minutes.
Each jumper will be given the option to jump either with an ankle harness attachment or a body harness attachment. The body harness is a waist and shoulder harness combination. The ankle harness utilizes a waist harness backup system.

No. Clothing must be worn by all for bungee jumping.
No, we do not allow "tandem" bungee jumping. All jumpers must jump individually.
You must be 18 years old to bungee jump without parental consent. If you are less than 18 years old you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or have written consent by the parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian must also be reachable by telephone the day of the jump to verify consent.

The minimum weight for bungee jumping is 80 lbs. The maximum weight is 300 lbs. The minimum weight for the RIPRIDE is 70 lbs, the maximum is 250 lbs.

Great Canadian Bungee reserves the right to restrict access to activities to anyone based on the discretion of management. Restrictions include intoxication, pregnancy, extreme asthma or respiratory disorders, epilepsy, hypertension, skeletal or joint or ligament problems.

The RIPRIDE zipline is a 1015 ft long, high speed cable slide. A cable slide can also be called a zipline, or flying fox.
The RIPRIDE zipline is just over 1015ft long. You slide at top speed for roughly 15 seconds before you begin to stop.
At the end of the slide you are slowed down by a unique spring based system which will roll you backwards until you are over top of the landing dock. A hydraulic lowering system will lower the cable down to the unloading dock where one of our staff will assist in removing you from the cable and your equipment.

There are 2 positions you can use to ride the RIPRIDE zipline, seated or flying.

The minimum weight for the RIPRIDE zipline is 70 lbs, the maximum is 250 lbs. However you must be under 190 lbs. to ride in the flying position.

Our bungee/rafting package is in conjunction with Esprit Rafting, rafting is done on the Ottawa River.
For those who do not wish to bungee jump, RIPRIDE/rafting packages and rafting only packages are also available.
The rafting and bungee locations are roughly 75 minutes from each other.
No. The Ultimate Adventure is a specially discounted package involving a discounted rate on both bungee jumping and rafting. No further discounts are available on this package.
No. Bungee and Ripriding must be done on a separate day than rafting. The rafting is a full day adventure and with driving distance from the bungee site it is not possible to complete all activities on the same day.
